We introduce a series of quantities which characterizes a given local operator in conformal field theories from the viewpoint of quantum entanglement. It is defined by the increased amount of (Renyi) entanglement entropy at late time for an excited state defined by acting the local operator on the vacuum. We consider a conformal field theory on an infinite space and take the subsystem in the definition of the entanglement entropy to be its half. We calculate these quantities for a free massless scalar field theory in 2, 4 and 6 dimensions. We find that these results are interpreted in terms of quantum entanglement of finite number states, including EPR states. They agree with a heuristic picture of propagations of entangled particles.

    hep-th 2026-02 unverdicted novelty 7.0

A coordinate map from AdS3 to BTZ allows construction of circular strings, magnons, and plane waves whose SL(2,R) charges are related by a boost, dual to asymmetric local quenches in the thermal CFT.

    hep-th 2026-07 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Wigner negativity in Krylov space stays O(1) or grows as t^{1/2} (without Hilbert-space scaling) in 2d CFTs, one-cut matrix models, and double-scaled SYK, indicating emergent semiclassicality.

In finite-volume massive free scalar field theory after local quench, spacing ratios of two-point function extrema follow GOE statistics and an extrema-based form factor shows RMT dip-ramp-plateau.

Genuine multi-entropy in heavy local quenches in 2D holographic CFTs is kinematically fixed to logarithms of rational functions of time, independent of heavy operator dimension, due to global saddle selection in the g...
