Loop Quantum Cosmology: A Status Report
read the original abstract
The goal of this article is to provide an overview of the current state of the art in loop quantum cosmology for three sets of audiences: young researchers interested in entering this area; the quantum gravity community in general; and, cosmologists who wish to apply loop quantum cosmology to probe modifications in the standard paradigm of the early universe. An effort has been made to streamline the material so that, as described at the end of section I, each of these communities can read only the sections they are most interested in, without a loss of continuity.

Phase-resolved field-space distance criteria in ekpyrotic, bouncing and cyclic cosmologies
Phase-resolved scalar distance bounds are derived for ekpyrotic, bouncing, and cyclic cosmologies, yielding a master condition that lower-bounds ε_ek from remaining distance after conversion and bounce.

Phase-resolved field-space distance criteria in ekpyrotic, bouncing and cyclic cosmologies
Phase-resolved field-space distance bounds for non-inflationary smoothing yield a master lower bound on ε_ek and imply ultra-fast-roll ekpyrosis or modified bounces to match observed red-tilted perturbations.

Non-perturbative, background independent Fock representations for canonical quantum gravity
Existence of separable Fock Hilbert spaces for background-independent non-perturbative quantization of general relativity.

Phase-resolved field-space distance criteria in ekpyrotic, bouncing and cyclic cosmologies

Particle motions and gravitational waveforms in rotating black hole spacetimes of loop quantum gravity
The LQG parameter ξ enlarges equatorial bound orbit energy ranges, confines off-equatorial trajectories, and produces larger deviations from Kerr waveforms in EMRI models for two rotating LQG black holes, though signa...

Parameterized Post-Newtonian Analysis of Quadratic Gravity and Solar System Constraints
Quadratic gravity with Weyl-squared and Ricci-squared terms produces PPN parameters that equal their GR values except for exponentially decaying corrections, with gamma identically 1 when the two mode masses are equal...

Dynamical systems analysis of an Einstein-Cartan ekpyrotic nonsingular bounce cosmology
An Einstein-Cartan ekpyrotic model with a steep-to-plateau scalar potential supports a torsion-driven nonsingular bounce in homogeneous contraction without chaotic behavior in the explored parameter space.

Universal Entanglement and an Information-Complete Quantum Theory

Polymer quantum mechanics on compact configuration spaces
Polymer quantization on compact spaces yields finite graph Hilbert spaces whose exact ring and box spectra recover Schrödinger QM as lattice spacing vanishes.

Effective dynamics of a homogeneous and isotropic universe with quantum curvature
A new LQC model with an added curvature term produces a quantum bounce that resolves the singularity at lower volume than standard LQC while preserving symmetric effective dynamics.

The problem of time: a path integral view
In a path-integral model of timeless quantum systems, time evolution arises when a clock is prepared in a semiclassical state, showing that the cosine problem in quantum gravity follows from time-reversal invariance a...
